Neurofunctional Acupuncture

Neurofunctional acupuncture is a specialized form of acupuncture that combines traditional acupuncture techniques and modern science aimed to improve function and reduce pain.

We like to describe acupuncture as sending small targets to the body to encourage increased blood flow and with it, stimulate local healing factors. Acupuncture is often used in combination with stim, which we call electro-acupuncture.

Neurofunctional acupuncture is an effective form of treatment for the following:

• Sports related injuries and other movement disorders
• Musculoskeletal pain complaints: neck pain, shoulder pain, low back pain, joint pain
• Chronic pain: headaches, sciatica, osteoarthritis, neuritis and facial pain
• And more!
